Swimming and the Swimsafe Floatsuit according to mr. Ivanovich:
"Swimsafe Floatsuit" swimming costume is intended for children having the weight from 8 to 20 kg (3-5 years old). It is made in accordance with the modern technologies of the light, elastic and rapidly drying cloth. At the breast and spine level the costume is provided with supporting means made of foamed plastic. Owing to the special collar the child's head is above the water level. The costume does not bind natural motions. Tightness of the swimming costume, if its size is properly selected, will not allow to independently get out from it for a child. In practice rubber life buoys, swimming pillows or cork belts are often used; however, due to possible damage of these means there is increased danger. One of the tasks of the first stage of the initial training of swimming consists of making a child feel like a fish in the water. Therefore, auxiliary means are needed. They must help the children to feel peculiar features of water and to overcome the difficulties connected with making the exercises.
Swimming motions are not systematic in the beginning of habit formation for the children of 3-5 years old. Many muscle groups participate in motions. The motions are uneasy and irregular and there is no agreement between motions of arms and legs. Legs do not keep the body on the water surface, they either sluggishly follow the body or vice versa, motions of the legs are abrupt, non-rhythmic, and the knees are too bent. As for motion of the arms, their simultaneous jerks and scatterings can often be observed. But gradually, as the result of continuous trials of swimming the motions acquire more definite and stable structure when alternate motions of legs and arms dominate.
Active interference of adults with fulfilment of one exercise or another helps to clear up the idea of moving in water. However, the child must become capable of independently watching his/her body position and levelling it out, if necessary, freely lying on the surface without any extra stress. This is facilitated with auxiliary supporting means, which promote acquirement of the sense of balance.
It is quite obvious that swimming is versatile in strengthening the body and it gives a great profit. Hence, it is very important that children could do it as early as possible. But one more reason exists for propaganda of swimming. The international statistics show that drowning persons constitute an essential part of the total number of the persons dead in accidents. Most frequently accidents on water take place with children from 3 to 10 years old. That is why apart from the measures aimed at improvement of the work of the saving service swimming teaching is obviously a promising method of prevention of accidents in water.
"Swimsafe Floatsuit" is one of these safety methods, a method of mastering water, which is especially crucial in summer in natural pools and "home" water-pools. Swimming can temper and harmonically develop a child from the early age. The road to champions is open for all. Therefore, Ivanchenko Evgeny Ivanovich wishes happy swimming to all kids!
Phil Black
Let me introduce our company to you my name is Phil Black (one of five directors) and our previous business has represented a number of products both here in Australia and in New Zealand and having first hand experience in manufacturing, import / export. retail, wholesale and distribution and not to mention sales and marketing for same.
I was introduced to your swim product last year namely the 'Swimsafe Float Suit' where I purchased a suit from Kmart for our four year old son prior to our Christmas vacation. Not knowing how the suit would perform we duly used it and I must tell you, it saved our holiday. Let me explain. Normalty I would have to get into the swimming pool with my son to aid his play and attempting to swim would also require me to stay in the pool with him. Don't get me wrong, I love my son dearly but having to spend all ten hours per day in a pool and not spending any time with my other son and wife, one gets a little wrinkly in the water after a while. So when I say it saved our holiday I mean it gave us all so much freedom and assurance that my son could go swimming without the fear of sinking. The suit gave him so much confidence that he was swimming unaided and swum without the suit in just four weeks plus without any swimming instruction.
This brings me to my point of writing this letter to you. I think this product of yours is fantastic and would like to get involved some how. If you have any thoughts on this I would like to discuss possibilities of any sort with you at your convenience.
Let me know what you think or if you have any questions to throw this way and I would be happy to answer them.
I look forward to your reply and best regards.
Phil Black
